When to Write
You may wish to contact us about any of the following:
- Metadata corrections — an inaccurate title, author name, or category placement (for example, a speech placed under “Fantasy Juvenile Worlds” that belongs in “Adventure Picaresque Fiction”).
- File or reading issues — a file that will not open, displays garbled text, or fails on a particular device or browser.
- Accessibility problems — difficulty using the catalogue with screen‑reading or assistive technology.
- Privacy questions — inquiries about what data we collect and how it is handled.
- Copyright or rights concerns — if you believe a work is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights and wish to discuss a particular edition.
- General editorial observations — thoughtful notes about a book’s context, thematic connections, or suggested improvements to our reading notes.
What to Include
To help us address your report efficiently, please include as many of the following details as are relevant:
- The exact URL (web address) of the page in question.
- The full title of the ebook as it appears in the catalogue.
- The file format you are using (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, HTML, etc.).
- The device or browser you were using when the problem occurred.
- A clear description of the observed problem — what you expected and what happened instead.
- Any supporting rights information, such as the jurisdiction and your relationship to the work, if you are raising a copyright concern.
Our Editorial Approach
We strive to keep our catalogue accurate and usable. Each report is reviewed in the context of the work’s provenance and our own editorial standards. Because we are a small independent project, we may not be able to respond to every message, but we do read each one and take it seriously.
No Automated Forms
We do not use a web contact form. All correspondence is handled via email, which allows us to receive the detailed information needed to investigate an issue properly. Please note that we cannot accept unsolicited manuscripts or proposals for new editions.
Additional Guidance for Specific Inquiries
If you are writing about a metadata correction, it helps to mention the category where the work currently resides and where you believe it should be placed. For example, a volume of speeches currently listed under “Science Fiction Utopias” might belong more naturally in “Adventure Picaresque Fiction.”
For file or reading issues, please indicate whether the problem occurs only with a particular format or across all formats. If you have tested the file on another device or reader, that information can help us isolate the cause.
When reporting accessibility problems, please describe the assistive technology you are using (such as a specific screen reader or magnification tool) and the nature of the difficulty — for instance, whether images lack alternative text, headings are not properly structured, or navigation is confusing.
If you are raising a copyright or rights concern, please provide the title and author of the work, the jurisdiction where you believe protection applies, and your relationship to the work (e.g., rights holder, researcher, or interested reader).
